Luboz

Depuis 1927

Luboz is a historic tobacconist, newsstand, and bazaar located in the center of Courmayeur, along the main Via Roma. Since 1927, it has been a point of reference for both residents and tourists, offering newspapers, tobacco products, and a wide selection of gifts, gadgets, toys, and various items.

Brand identity

The client requested a simple and clean visual identity that would include the profile of Mont Blanc as seen from Val Ferret. The logo was therefore developed starting from the silhouette of the range, with the Aiguille Noire clearly recognizable among the peaks.

The letter “L”, the initial of the name, was designed in a cursive style and intertwines with the mountain silhouette in negative space, creating the effect of a ribbon wrapping around the profile of Mont Blanc and its peaks. The result is an essential yet distinctive graphic mark, capable of immediately evoking the local territory and the business’s historical identity.

In addition to the logo, summer and winter wrapping papers were also designed, featuring a hand-drawn pattern with toys, plush figures, elements of local flora and fauna, and characteristic objects. This resulted in a decorative texture that conveys a playful, original atmosphere, consistent with the style of the business.
